Jon Lubke was elected to the SWCD Board in 2024 and is honored to serve Winneshiek County, as did his father John Lubke. He and his wife Kimberly live East of Ridgeway on his grandparents farm in Madison Township. They have four grown children and two grandchildren. Jon works for Winneshiek County as their IT and GIS Director, but also finds time to operate the family farms with his father. Their operation raises corn, soybeans, and hay using no-till, cover crops, and other conservation practices. Jon also enjoys spending time outdoors, which includes deer hunting in the fall and boating on the Mississippi River at Lansing in the Summer.
